1970s
KitPackers is founded in Minneapolis, MN.
1984
The company is purchased by Ellsworth Adhesives.
1987
To further the efficiencies of the two companies, KitPackers moves to Germantown, WI (a Milwaukee suburb).
1994
KitPackers combines operations with ResinLab, a division of Ellsworth Adhesives, and moves into a new facility on Morse Drive in the Germantown Industrial Park. The new Morse Drive facility is built adjacent to the Ellsworth Adhesives facility on Fulton Drive.
1998
Jamie Ellsworth becomes General Manager of KitPackers.
2003
KitPackers makes the move to the Fulton Drive facility, allowing the company to quadruple its manufacturing space, purchase new state of the art packaging equipment, and improve overall efficiencies.
2008
KitPackers became ISO 9001:2000 registered. Today KitPackers is ISO 9001:2015 registered and therefore maintains a quality management system that provides products and services which are continually improving to meet industry standards. This quality registration sets us apart from our competitors and allows KitPackers to be a preferred supplier for industry-leading manufacturers.
2012
KitPackers and ResinLab move into a new 107,000 sq. ft. facility at N109 W13300 Ellsworth Drive Germantown, WI 53022, just five miles from the Fulton Drive location and very near the main Ellsworth Adhesives building. The new building greatly expands production, laboratory, and office space.
